    ✅Who is a new participant?
     
    You are considered a new participant if you:
    • Did not swim with CBST-SAL during the 2024-25 season and
    • Are not a 2025 Spring Swim Clinic participant who was emailed that you can sign up for this clinic and/or CBST-SAL as a return member

  • 📝 Registration Process for New Participants

    1. Submit New Member Info
      Complete the online new member information form as soon as possible
      🕒 Submit your form ASAP (by July 24) to secure an evaluation and preferred clinic days. 

    2. Sign Up for and Attend an Evaluation
      ➤After your online form is submitted, you’ll receive an email with a link to sign up for an evaluation.
      ➤Evaluations will be held in late July and August and are scheduled first-come, first-served.
      ➤Evaluation sign-up link will include evaluation dates, times, location.
      ➤Evaluations will involve swimming several laps, and swimmers will demonstrate what they are able to swim for freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly.
      ⚠️ If you're signing up for a clinic evaluation, you do not need to sign up separately for a CBST-SAL team evaluation.

    3. Provide Physical Form
      Submit your physical in one of two ways:
            ➤ Email readable PDF to jsteinberg@cbsd.org
            ➤ Bring a paper copy to evaluations

      🩺Physical Form Requirements
        • Must be dated 9/1/2023 or after for the 2025 clinic.
        • Must be signed by the swimmer's physician.
        • The form here is provided for your convenience. However, any completed and correctly dated, doctor-signed form is acceptable.
          ➤ Swim Team Physical for Grades 8 and under
        • Our programs require a new physical form each fall (even if the one you provided in the prior year is still within date).
        • Always keep a copy of your physical form for your records and for your use with this and other programs in the future.

           4. Clinic Registration & Payment
               🖥️ Swimmers who are evaluated as ready for the clinic will receive sign-up instructions via email.
                     This final step will include     online registration and payment by a specified deadline.
