Dear Parents of Elementary and Middle School Students,
Over the past several years, the Central Bucks School District has offered annual presentations on current trends in social media and technology. This is an avenue for parents to obtain information on specific apps and to learn about changes in online safety that are impacting our youth. Central Bucks is appreciative of our community partners who provide this information.
On February 22nd, Mary Worthington from the Network of Victims Assistance (NOVA) and Detective Dante Montella, from the Warwick Township Police Department, will be presenting social media and online safety information to parents.
The following topics will be addressed:
Current trends in Social Media, Apps, and Online Gaming
How to Stay Safe Online
A time for questions will also be available.
The program will be held at Jamison Elementary at 6:30PM in the school’s gymnasium and a flyer for the presentation is available on the district website or by clicking here.
We hope you will be able to join us for this important conversation.
