We offer both lifeguard training and lifeguarding review courses.Spring 2024 American Red Cross Lifeguarding Review CoursesPrerequisite: Current Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED certification is required to participate in this review course.Students must attend BOTH days of their chosen course (either both April days OR both May days).Students must bring their own mask and food/drink for break time.Cost: $150APRIL COURSE:Friday, April 55 - 9:15 p.m.CB South High School (1100 Folly Road, Warrington, PA)ANDSaturday, April 69 a.m. - 2 p.m.CB South High School (1100 Folly Road, Warrington, PA)MAY COURSE:Friday, May 35:30 - 9:15 p.m.CB South High School (1100 Folly Road, Warrington, PA)ANDSaturday, May 49 a.m. - 3 p.m.CB South High School (1100 Folly Road, Warrington, PA)Spring 2024 American Red Cross Blended Learning Lifeguard Training including First Aid, CPR and AEDPrerequisites:- Minimum age: 15 years old on or before the final scheduled session of the Lifeguarding course
- Successful completion of two prerequisite swimming skills evaluations:
- Complete a swim-tread-swim sequence without stopping to rest: Jump into the water and totally submerge, resurface then swim 150 yards using the front crawl, breaststroke or a combination of both. (Swimming on back or side is not permitted. Swim goggles are allowed.) Maintain position at the surface of the water for 2 minutes by treading water using only the legs. Swim 50 yards using the front crawl, breaststroke or a combination of both.
- Complete a timed brick event within 1 minute, 40 seconds: Starting in the water, swim 20 yards. (The face may be in or out of the water. Swim goggles are not allowed). Surface dive (feet-first or head-first) to a depth of 7-10 feet to retrieve a 10-pound object. Return to the surface and swim 20 yards on the back to return to the starting point, holding the object at the surface with both hands and keeping the face out at or near the surface. Exit the water without using a ladder or steps.
- Mandatory online training must be completed before April 5th (for April course) or May 3rd (for May course).

- If you do not have a My Payments Plus account and you have a child in the Central Bucks School District, you will need your child's student ID which is available on your Parent Portal. Click the red link below. On the My Payments Plus Home Screen select Register for a FREE Account, select PA, select Central Bucks School District, select I Have a Student Enrolled. Once you have set up your account, select Events & Activities. Filter on Aquatics. Click on the correct American Red Cross lifeguard course. This will only allow you to register your CB student. If you are registering other children who are not currently enrolled in CB, you will have to create a guest account for them.
- If you do not have a My Payments Plus account and you do not have a child in the Central Bucks School District, click the red link below. On the My Payments Plus Home Screen select Register for a FREE Account, select PA, select Central Bucks School District, select I Am a Guest. Once you have set up your account, select Events & Activities. Filter on Aquatics. Click on the correct American Red Cross lifeguard course.
