Dear Parents and/or Guardians,

Beginning Friday January 3rd through Sunday February 2nd, 2025, all secondary students in the Central Bucks School District will be entering their course requests for the following year through the Parent Portal. The 2025-2026 Program of Studies will be posted online on January 2^nd 2025, for you and your students to access. Additionally, the course selection sheet and scheduling worksheet will be helpful tools in this process.

School Counselors will be presenting to sophomores during their Social Studies (10^th grade) courses and to juniors during their English (11^th grade) courses covering both 1^st and 2^nd semester classes through February 2^nd .  During these presentations the graduation requirements, college requirements and course registration deadlines will be explained.  Students are free to register for courses prior to hearing the presentation and then make changes as needed via the portal or may wait until the presentation if they are unsure of the process.  Watching videos of the course descriptions may also help students make their course selection decisions.  Videos can be viewed through this Course Descriptions link. 

Course verification sheets will be posted on-line through the portal on Friday March 14^th to confirm student course requests.  Students will be permitted to make changes to their course requests by Thursday, March 20th by submitting this form Course Change Request  25-26 Through March 20 to their counselor. 

Students will not be able to make changes to these requests after March 20th , unless it is due to a level change or failure to meet a prerequisite. After March 20th  in order to request a change, students must submit this form Course Change Request 25-26 March 20 and Later to their counselor.

We are hopeful that this program allows more opportunity for students and parents to discuss course requests at home with time to read about the many classes offered by the district.  We would also ask that if you have any problems, do not hesitate to seek our assistance.

Information about Course Verification Reports available on March 14th, 2025:

Course requests for the 2025 -26 school year will be available for review on Infinite Campus on March 14, 2025. Please find the document below  for step-by-step instructions on how to access your verification report.  Students, if you wish to make any changes to your requests, you must contact your school counselor, via email or in-person, no later than March 20th, 2025.  If you are not making any changes, there is no need to contact your counselor. We suggest you print and save the Verification Form for your reference. 

CRITICAL COURSE CHANGE POLICY

Changes in course requests will only be honored for the following two reasons: 

1:  Failure to meet the required prerequisite/ misplacement in course; or

2:  Level Change that has been verified by the teacher. 

NO CHANGES TO COURSES (CORE COURSES OR ELECTIVES) WILL BE MADE AFTER March 20, 2025 UNLESS THEY MEET THE REQUIREMENTS ABOVE.  THERE CAN BE NO EXCEPTIONS. PLEASE PLAN YOUR REQUESTS ACCORDINGLY.

Are you interested in pursuing Dual Enrollment through Delaware Valley University for Sociology, Calculus 1, Statistics & Data Analysis, or Environmental Sustainability? You MUST complete the online application by March 20. Please be sure to discuss Dual Enrollment with your family as there is a financial obligation to Delaware Valley University to receive dual enrollment credit.
