Central Bucks East - Athletic Hall of Fame
The Central Bucks East Athletic Hall of Fame was established in memory of Dr. James Gallagher, the school's first principal. Dr. Gallagher was a strong supporter of student educational enrichment and athletic achievement. The Hall of Fame was conceived to honor those individuals who, through their service, dedication and performance, have established excellence and brought recognition to themselves and the athletic program at Central Bucks East High School.
The Athletic Hall of Fame became a reality in 1994. The initial induction ceremony was conducted in 1995. The committee consists of the school's athletic director, coaches, teachers, prior inductees and community members.
The current committee includes John Reading, Athletic Director; Tom Kane (Chairperson), retired teacher, coach; Paul Wilson, teacher, coach and hall member; Cheryl Boehringer Morris, former student and hall member; Robert Tait, former student and hall member; Anne Boehringer, booster club president; Tara Schmucker, Teacher, coach, hall member; Mark Rubino, teacher, coach, Bert Eckelmeyer, hall member.
