    Mr. George Moustakas, School Counseling Coordinator 
    Mr. Moustakas has been working in the School Counseling Department since the fall of 2002. He graduated from Temple University in 1999 with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology, and then he received his Master’s in Counseling from Temple University in the spring of 2002. During his spare time, Mr. Moustakas spends his time working with children diagnosed with developmental and behavioral disorders. Mr. Moustakas assists students with the Class of 2024 (Lf-Z).     Mrs. Tanya Barone-Durant
    Mrs. Barone-Durant has been with Central Bucks since 2008.  She began working as a school counselor in 2004 at Green Run High School in Virginia Beach, VA where she coached both Varsity field hockey and swimming.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Lehigh University where she also competed all four years on their Championship Swimming and Diving Team.  She also holds a Master’s of Education in Kinesiology specializing in sport psychology from Temple University, as well as a Master’s of Education in Secondary School Counseling from Lehigh University.  Mrs. Barone-Durant began her career as a collegiate level swim coach at the University of Pennsylvania, Drexel University and Lehigh University.  She graduated from Central Bucks East with the class of 1995 and has loved coming back to her alma mater to work with our outstanding students.  Mrs. Barone-Durant is the co-advisor of the Culture Shock Club and assists students with the Class of 2025 (Lf-Z).  She can be contacted at: tdurant@cbsd.org.   

    Mrs. Nancy Flanagan-Kelly
    Mrs. Flanagan-Kelly joined the East School Counseling team in 2018, but was formerly a Central Bucks English teacher.   She graduated from Chestnut Hill College with her Bachelor of Arts, and then completed her masters degree at both Gwynedd-Mercy College and Eastern University.   Mrs. Flanagan-Kelly also had expereince being a career coach at Mongomery County Community College.     Mrs. Melanie Jones 
    Mrs. Jones began her career as a High School Counselor at Central Bucks East in 2003. She has enjoyed providing personal, group and college counseling during her years here.   Prior to beginning her work as a School Counselor, she worked in Human Resources at Council Rock School District for 4 years while earning her Master of Science Degree in Counseling Psychology from Holy Family University. The first position that she held after earning her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Lycoming College was as a case manager of court adjudicated youth at Diversified Treatment Alternatives in Lewisburg Pa. She looks forward to a long career at CB East working with our outstanding students, parents and faculty.  Mrs. Jones assists students with the Class of 2023 (Lp-Z).  She can be contacted at: mejones@cbsd.org
     
    Ms. Marilyn Russo
    Ms. Russo joined the CB East School Counseling Department in 2006.  Prior to working as a school counselor, Ms. Russo worked in college admissions at Moravian College, her alma mater.  While in graduate school at Villanova University, where she earned her master’s degree in Counseling and Human Relations, Ms. Russo also worked in the Counseling department, conducting research and writing in the field of secondary school counseling.  Ms. Russo assists students with the Class of 2025 (A-Le).  She can be contacted at: mrusso@cbsd.org 
     
    Mr. Walter Sandstrom
    Mr. Sandstrom joined the Central Bucks community in 2006 serving as a counselor at Middle Bucks Institute of Technology, CB West, and CB East.  Prior to this time, Mr. Sandstrom spent 9 years as a Mutual Fund and Hedge Fund Accounting Supervisor working with the Vanguard Group of Investment Companies and SEI Investments.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance with a Political Science Minor from Bloomsburg University, a Master of Business Administration degree from Saint Joseph’s University, The Haub School of Business, and a Master of Education degree from West Chester University.  Mr. Sandstrom’s educational philosophy is to assist students in the areas of academic achievement, career development, and personal/social development.  He believes that the more informed a student becomes about his or her own career path, the more likely he/she will experience success during the course of their high school career and beyond.  Mr. Sandstrom assists students with the Class of 2023 (A-Lo).  He can be contacted at: wsandstrom@cbsd.org
