    *Note: All students K-12 will be prompted to input additional security information upon logging into any Office365 programs. This is required and activates the ability for students to reset their own password when necessary. 

  • Where do I find my username?

    Student usernames can be found in the Parent Portal of Infinite Campus.  It is located in the "More" section of the Main Menu under "Family Information".  The username is the student's full email address. Ex: Smith.J123@student.cbsd.org. Click here for step-by-step instructions. 

    Staff usernames are provided upon completing the hiring process. For any questions regarding staff usernames, please call the Help Desk.

  • How do new students receive their username and password?

          NEW STUDENT PASSWORDS: The password for new students is Uppercase first initial, lowercase last initial, and their 6 digit birthday.  Ex: James Smith born on 07/08/2009 would have a password of Js070809. It is encouraged to reset your password following the directions below. 

         Elementary (K-6): Families should reach out to their building librarian with questions regarding usernames and passwords.  A list of building librarians can be found here:  https://www.cbsd.org/library

         Secondary (7-12): Families should reach out to their building counselor with questions regarding usernames and passwords. 

            USERNAME: The format is lastname.first initial###@student.cbsd.org.  (Ex: smith.j123@student.cbsd.org)

            PASSWORDS: A password will be shared when contacting the building.

  • What password complexity am I required to have?

    Posted by:

         • Must be a minimum of 8 characters – but it can be more

         • Must include at least one number

         • Must include one upper case letter

         • Must include one lower case letter

         • CANNOT include the user’s account name or parts of the user’s name that exceed two consecutive characters

         • Additionally, passwords appearing on the "Bad Password" list will be rejected

  • How do existing students who forget their password get a new password?

         Students who forget their password can do one of the following:

           1) Use the Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR) directions at www.cbsd.org/passwordreset. *NOTE: This will only work if a student was able to login over the summer AND has been prompted with the security questions. If not, they most use one of the methods below.

           2) Contact your school librarian or teacher to change your password through Reset Tool or Classlink. (Teachers: Directions can be found here.)

           3) If you are unable to reset using the methods above, you can contact our Help Desk at 267-893-2100.

  • How do students reset their password, if they currently know it?

          Students who know their password, but would like to reset it can do the following:

           1) Use the Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR) directions at www.cbsd.org/passwordreset.

           2) Contact your school librarian or teacher to change your password through Reset Tool or Classlink. (Teachers: Directions can be found here.)

           3) Reset your password in Office 365 by following these directions.

  • How do teachers and staff reset their password?

          Staff who forget their password can do the following:

           1) Use the Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR) directions at www.cbsd.org/passwordreset.

           2) Reset your password in Office 365 by following these directions.

           3) Staff can call the Help Desk at 267-893-2100 if SSPR is not successful.
