Hello West Music Families!
We're thrilled to share that our music department will be traveling to Orlando, Florida together from February 13-16, 2026. We’ll be spending all four days of the trip in Disney World, and each group will be giving a performance at Disney. While we encourage all Band, Orchestra, and Choir students to join, participation is optional. We are sharing the trip information and registration early to provide families with plenty of time to plan and participate in fundraising for this larger trip to Florida.Registration Information

Chaperones

- Interested parents should register using the chaperone package option. There are triple, double, and single occupancy room options for chaperones.
- All chaperones must have current CBSD volunteer clearances completed and submitted to CBSD by January 30, 2026.
Truck Drivers
We are looking for two parent volunteers to drive a U-Haul transporting all luggage and instruments to Orlando, arriving at our hotel on the day we check in. Travel details will be coordinated closer to the trip, and we will cover hotel and meal costs en route, along with all trip package inclusions while in Orlando. Drivers will also assist with moving equipment to and from performance spaces. If interested, please email Mr. Delson at ndelson@cbsd.org. If we receive multiple volunteers, a lottery will be held to determine the drivers.
Trip Insurance/Cancellation
- From Bob Rogers: "All money and fees paid to Bob Rogers Travel prior to cancellation are non-refundable. No refunds or credits will be issued for a canceled traveler without the additional purchase of travel protection. All cancellations must be confirmed via email by Bob Rogers Travel. No refunds or credits will be issued for a cancelled participant without the purchase of travel protection."
- Purchasing the "Enhanced" plan allows for the Cancel For Any Reason provision which will give you a maximum 75% refund
- We hope everyone can travel with us, but the CB West Music Staff highly recommends purchasing the "Enhanced" plan if there is any possibility that you might need to cancel.
CB West Trip Policy Agreement
- All student travelers must complete the Trip Policy Agreement by August 1.
- Link to the Student Handbook is in the Form above. Please read carefully prior to completing.
Fundraising
Several Fundraisers will be available for students to raise funds leading up to the trip. This will vary slightly by ensemble. Stay tuned for more info from your director regarding fundraisers, but below are examples of some that will be available:
- Program Ad Sale
- Mums Sale
- Trip Donations (NEW from Bob Rogers): Families can share a personalized link for direct contributions toward student travel costs (like Kickstarter), instantly applied to their balance.
Please email your director with any questions you have. Details will also be discussed in your ensemble class the first week of school.
We're looking forward to a fantastic trip!
Sincerely,
Mr. Delson, Ms. Marchione, and Mrs. Tosti
