GIRL STEM

DESCRIPTION:

Girl STEM is a club dedicated to insprire and encourage girls to enter STEM fields.  This club will also focus on fundraising to inspire and encourage elementary age students to become interested in careers in the STEM fields. 

Information from the April 18, 2018 meeting:

Today the Girls Stem Club wrote Thank You cards to the staff of Doyle Elementary School as well as CBW Administration.

Our Winter Enrichment Program "Spectacular Science" at Doyle was a success!  Great job everyone!  We hope to go over more concerns next meeting - we value everyone's input on how we can make this club run smoother!

HEADS UP:  We were invited to attend the Kutz Elementary School Spring Fair on May 19th from 11:45am to 2:00pm.  We have 8 members signed up so far.  If you are interested and have not signed up, the sign-up link is in an email that was previously sent to ALL members.  Please contact us if you did not receive the email and would like to be added to the mailing list.    We will be conducting the slime lab and lava lamp lab.  Please bring in any empty water bottles if you can!!

Lastly, the Science Department has polo t-shirts for sale!  They are $29 each.  If you are interested in ordering a polo, you should place the order via MyPaymentsPlus by the end of the day Friday, April 20.
