• For your convenience, this page lists some commonly asked questions.  If you have a question not listed here, please email the Central Registration office at CentralRegistration@cbsd.org or call us at 267-893-2111.  We are happy to help.

Are there exceptions to the age cut off for Kindergarten?
No, the Central Bucks School Board Policy states a child must be five years of age by August 31st.

I need a specific session for Kindergarten, how do I request it?
Session assignments are completed at the individual school.  The registration office does not place students.  If your school allows session requests, AM/PM preference forms will be provided at registration.  All session request questions must be directed to the school office.
Does my child need to come to the registration appointment?
It is not necessary for your child to attend the registration appointment.
What if I don't have all the required documents listed?
Please email or call the registration office and we will review acceptable alternatives.
May I bring copies of the required documents or are originals required?
We will accept unaltered legible copies in lieu of originals.
I don't have the ability to print the forms, what should I do?
We always have copies of the forms available in our office.  Feel free to pick up a packet before your appointment.  If this is not an option, we can provide the forms for you at the time of your appointment.  Please allow extra time for your appointment.
I have other children already attending Central Bucks, do I still need everything on the list?
Yes, with each new registration you are required to have all the listed documentation.
I am just moving into the area and I won't have all of the necessary proof of residency documents, what should I do?
Please email or call the registration office and we will explain future resident policies.
Do I need my child's previous school records to register?
It is helpful if you bring your child's most recent schedule or report card, however, it is not a requirement to register.  We will request their records for you after you sign a records release form.
How long will it take before my child can start attending school?
Our goal is to place a child as quickly as possible once all registration requirements are met.  To ensure a smooth transition and expedite enrollment, please have all paperwork ready.  In most cases, a student will be enrolled within two days.
When does transportation set up my child's bus stop?
After your student is enrolled, their student information will automatically download to transportation.  Bus details are provided on the CBSD website via the 'Find My Bus' link and within our Parent Portal.  It typically takes 48 hours to create or adjust a bus stop.
