The Central Bucks Schools will provide all students with theacademic and problem-solving skills essential for personal development, responsible citizenship, and life-long learning.

In order for students to be granted accommodations on College Board tests, these accommodations must be approved by the College Board's Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD). Most students apply for accommodations with the assistance of their school’s SSD Coordinator. A change in the process requires that applications for accommodations for the PSAT and SAT tests be submitted online.

I am the current SSD Coordinator at Central Bucks West, and the purpose of this letter is to familiarize you with steps involved in the new application system. You may initiate the process by going online to www.collegeboard.com/ssd/studentwhere you will find a web page with background information on Services for Students with Disabilities as well as a number of related links. One of the links provides a parent consent form that you may print out, sign, and have your student deliver to his or her IEP case manager. You may also access this form through the Important Links on this page. Once I receive the form, I can then go online and complete the application. If you are unable to access the form, I will do so and send it home with your student to be signed.

Also, please be sure to read the additional information provided on the CollegeBoard’s SSD web site, including the links that explain eligibility criteria, documentation requirements, and important SSD dates.

If I can be of any further help, please send me an e-mail at kaharrison or call 267-893-2500 extension 1581.
