Congratulations to this year's NTHS Inductees

students pose for a photo seated with their induction certificatesThe Middle Bucks Institute of Technology (MBIT) Chapter of the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) inducted fourteen new student members, nine of whom are Central Bucks students. The mission of the NTHS is to honor student achievement and leadership in career and technical education, promote educational excellence, award scholarships, and enhance career opportunities for the NTHS membership.
 
Nomination into the National Technical Honor Society is an important achievement for select students. Society membership is a valuable investment, the highest award of excellence in workforce education in America. To qualify for nomination at MBIT, students must be nominated by a professional staff member, maintain an “A” average in his/her technical area, maintain a 3.4 average or better in all academic areas, be a 200 level student or higher, exhibit good character and leadership, have a discipline record with no detentions or suspensions throughout previous and current school years, plan to pursue a career or college major in their technical field of study, and have demonstrated community service experiences.
 
The Central Bucks School District students inducted into the National Technical Honor Society are: Jenna Berkun (CB South, Medical and Health Professions), Allison Espinoza (CB South, Dental Occupations), Owen Frenia (CB East, Medical and Health Professions), Tahlea Grannell (CB South, Medical and Health Professions), Andrew Jimick (CB South, Computerized Drafting and Engineering Graphics), Riley Kaas (CB South, Sports Therapy and Exercise Management), Cailyn LaRosa (CB South, Sports Therapy and Exercise Management), Samantha Rosinski (CB South, Multimedia Technology), and Kelsey Steel (CB South, Early Childhood Care & Education). #CBSDPROUD
