As we plan for the 2019-2020 school year, we are going to implement a change in our kindergarten schedule on weather delay days. 

This past year, our AM kindergarten students missed over eight sessions of kindergarten due to 2-hour delayed starts. When we have a 2-hour delay, the AM kindergarten was essentially “cancelled” for that day. 

Beginning in the 2019-2020 school year, we will implement a “modified kindergarten” schedule on weather delay days. The schedule will be as follows:

A Schools:

• AM Students  10:35AM – 12:20PM
• PM Students  1:30PM – 3:15PM

B Schools

• AM Students  10:50AM – 12:35PM
• PM Students  1:45PM – 3:30PM

C Schools

• AM Students  11:05AM – 12:50PM
• PM Students  2:00PM – 3:45PM

This change does not impact transportation. Our kindergarten students will continue to be transported just one way. AM students will come in on buses with the delayed start times, and PM students will go home on buses as normal. Families will still be required to do the midday pickup/drop off times.
