• The Pupil Services Department is dedicated to supporting the diverse needs of students across CBSD schools.



    The department comprises five main divisions: Gifted Services, Special Education Services, Health Services, Student Services, and Title IX. Each division works collaboratively to ensure that every student has access to the resources and opportunities they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

    Gifted Services

    The Gifted Services division is committed to meeting the needs of students who demonstrate exceptional abilities and talents. Through individualized education plans (GIEPs), enrichment opportunities, and advanced coursework, this division fosters intellectual growth, creativity, and a passion for learning.     Special Education Services

    Special Education Services ensures that students with disabilities receive personalized support tailored to their unique needs. By providing individualized education programs (IEPs), specialized instruction, and access to related services, this division helps students achieve their fullest potential in inclusive and supportive environments.     Health Services

    Health Services focuses on promoting the physical and well-being of students. This division oversees school nurses, health screenings, and programs such as "Stop the Bleed" and "Code Heart" to ensure that all students are safe, healthy, and ready to learn.     Student Services

    The Student Services division provides a wide range of support for student success, including counseling, mental health and behavioral health interventions, attendance services, college and career, and programs addressing social-emotional learning. This division is committed to fostering a positive and inclusive school climate. Student Services oversees the processes, procedures, and services for 504's, homebound instruction, McKinney-Vento Homelessness Act, Student Assistance Program (SAP), attendance, college and career including the K-12 Chapter 339 Guidance Plan, school counselors, school psychologists, and student support social workers/counselors.     Title IX

    The Title IX division is dedicated to maintaining a safe and equitable educational environment free from discrimination based on sex. This division handles complaints of sexual harassment and discrimination, provides training for staff and students, and ensures compliance with federal regulations to uphold students' rights.
