HOT TOPIC!!! CONCUSSIONS!!!!

As many of you are probably aware, many students seem to be suffering from concussions. There are a few reasons why concussion experts feel there has been such an increase in concussion diagnoses including increased recognition of the signs and symptoms of a concussion. I have included a link below from the Centers from Disease Control which includes the signs and symptoms of a concussion.

Please contact the nurse's office as soon as possible if your student is diagnosed with a concussion. The ACE form will need to be filled out by the Dr. (see link below).

We would like to speak with you personally before your child returns to school to discuss cognitive rest, any symptoms they are having, paperwork that is needed, academics, etc.
