Kyle Dearie--P.E.
Kyle Dearie is fired up to be one of the health and physical education teachers alongside a phenomenal team of teachers, administrators, parents, and most importantly… STUDENTS!!! at Barclay Elementary School. Kyle grew up in the Bucks County area with his father (Jeff), mother (Debra), and his brother (Evan). he received his K-12 education from the Council Rock School District. He was very involved and passionate about team sports all the way throughout high school. These experiences developed his interest in physical fitness and health/wellness. This eventually led him to study health and physical education at West Chester University. Kyle became a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity at West Chester University where he took executive positions to expand and better his leadership skills. Kyle recently graduated from West Chester in the spring of 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in health and physical education. Kyle loves to spend time exercising, being with friends and family, and vacationing down the shore. He is super excited to continue his journey in the Central Bucks School District.
Kelly Langlois--P.E.
Mrs. Langlois is excited to be back at Barclay for the second year in a row. She is splitting her time between here and Warwick. Mrs. Langlois graduated from Springfield College in Massachusetts then got her master's degree from the University of South Florida. She has been teaching in Central Bucks for 2 years and 7 years in total. Mrs. Langlois spends her non-teaching hours reading, playing with her golden retriever dog, and spending time with family.
Dave Rodgers--P.E.
Mr. Rodgers is glad to be back at Barclay for the third year in a row. He will be splitting his time between here and Cold Spring. Mr. Rodgers graduated from West Chester University then got his master’s degree in education from Cabrini College. He has been teaching in Central Bucks for 17 years. Mr. Rodgers spends his non-teaching hours training local athletes and spending time with his wife and three kids, who also go to Central Bucks schools.
Jennifer Wasserman--Library
Mrs. Wasserman grew up in Churchville, Pennsylvania. She attended Rider College for her undergraduate degree and Drexel University, where she received her Master's in Library Science. When Jennifer is not teaching she enjoys watching her daughter Lily grow and thrive at Drake University and her son Henry play on various baseball teams for Cheltenham Township, Cheltenham High School and Protech. She also enjoys working on her house with her husband, traveling with her family, taking lots of pictures (much to her childrens' dismay!), reading and spending time with family and friends.
Nicole Smith--QUEST
Mrs. Smith is thrilled to be the QUEST teacher at Barclay! Her teaching career began immediately after graduating from Gwynedd-Mercy College with certification in Elementary and Special Education. She earned her Masters of Education degree in reading, also at Gwynedd- Mercy. Since then, she has taught learning support, third grade, kindergarten, first grade and QUEST. She has been teaching for 17 years. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her family which includes; her husband Jesse and their three children Chloe, Oliver, and Bennett. Mrs. Smith also has a sweet hound dog named Gertie.

Kate Sayer--Art
Kate Sayer grew up in Northern Virginia before moving to Pennsylvania. She attended Temple University’s Tyler School of Art for her undergraduate degree in art education and then earned her Master’s degree in Instructional Media from Wilkes University. Kate has taught Art in all grade levels, elementary, middle school, and high school, throughout Bucks County, Montgomery County, and Philadelphia. When she is not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her husband and dog, playing ball hockey, cooking, and creating art.
Christine Dollarton--PEN
Mrs. Dollarton grew up right here in Bucks County, where she currently lives. She received her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Penn State, and then went to Gwynedd-Mercy and received her Master's Degree in Reading. She is a certified Reading Specialist, and loves to share her love of reading with her students. She began her career teaching middle school in the Norristown Area School District. She happily joined the Central Bucks community in 2007 and taught fifth and sixth grades at Gayman Elementary for eight years. In 2015 Mrs. Dollarton made the move to become a PEN teacher in the district, and now she happily splits her time between Barclay and Cold Spring. When she is not working, Mrs. Dollarton enjoys spending time with her husband and two children at the beach.
Jason Fillette--PEN
Mr. Fillette is one of the PEN teachers this year at Barclay. He has worked in Central Bucks School District for 27 years. His career began as a third-grade teacher at Warwick Elementary School. He received his master’s degree, and after 12 years of regular education he made the switch to gifted education. He absolutely loves working in PEN. Mr. Fillette has three children of his own and just recently celebrated the birth of his first grandchild, Giovanni.
Karly Abbott--ELD
Karly Abbott grew up in Warwick and attended the CB school district, graduating from CB South. She then earned her Bachelor’s degree and ESL Program Specialist from Millersville University. After that she attended Cabrini University receiving her Master’s degree and Reading Specialist certification. Before joining the Barclay family, she has taught in the Pennsbury and Upper Darby school districts. When she is not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her two sons, Jace- 5 and Jax-3, as well as her husband. Mrs. Abbott also likes going to the beach.
Heather Houghton--ELD
Heather Houghton grew up in Plumsteadville, PA and graduated from Central Bucks East High School. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Lock Haven University, an elementary certification from Holy Family College, a Master's Degree in Education from Gratz College, and a certification in English as a Second Language from Eastern University. When she is not teaching, Mrs. Houghton loves reading and playing games with her son, Ryan, and her daughter, Reagan.
Lauren Linden--ELD
Mrs. Linden grew up in Churchville, PA and attended Council Rock School District. She earned her Elementary Education certification through Gwynedd Mercy University and her ESL Program Specialist certification through Eastern University. She previously earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and her master’s degree in Counselor Education, both from the Pennsylvania State University. Outside of school, Mrs. Linden enjoys running and spending time with her family.
Bridget Loftus--ELD
Bridget Loftus grew up in Philadelphia and currently resides in Bucks County with her husband, daughter and two sons. She attended Widener University, where she received her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education. She attended Holy Family University to obtain her Masters in Education Degrees in Reading Specialist and English Language Development. In her free time, Mrs. Loftus loves to spend time at the beach with her family, cheer her boys on in sports and read/listen to many different genres of books.
Stephanie Hansen--ELD
Stephanie Hansen grew up in northeastern Pennsylvania, and earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware in Business Administration. After working in the business world, she earned her Master’s degree in Elementary Education from Bloomsburg University. Prior to joining Barclay, she taught 3rd, 5th, and 6th grade in Pennsylvania. When she is not teaching, she enjoys watching her kids play flag football and traveling with her family.

Natasa Kovacevic (Mrs. K.) lives in Langhorne, PA with her husband Larry and son Maksim. She earned her elementary education certification and ESL specialist certification through Temple University where she completed MEd in Early Childhood Education and ESL certification program. Outside of school, Mrs. K. enjoys singing with a local Bucks County Chorus, spending time with her family, and listening to her son play accordion.
