    Hello Warwick!

My name is Rachel McClintock and I am the Warwick Parent Teacher Organization President for the school year of 2018-2019. I have 3 daughters, two at Holicong in 7th and 9th grades, and one at Warwick in 1st grade. We are looking forward to another great school year!

The PTO at Warwick is a volunteer team that helps to enhance the experiences at Warwick Elementary school for all of our children. I always knew it was important to have these wonderful special programs and activities for the kids but I didn't realize how important until my first child entered middle school. These programs help build a solid foundation for our children to look back on and remember where they came from and the fun they had as a young student. It is so different once they leave the comfort and security of Warwick, to move on and further their educations.

Some of the most memorable activities from last year were the Family Fun Picnic with the games and DJ (even though the weather did not cooperate), the Holiday shop, the Father/daughter dance, the Great Wolf Lodge, all of the 6th grade adventures just to name a few. There are so many other great activities planned by our amazing parent volunteers!

The Warwick PTO funds 3-4 assemblies a year, gives money to every student to discount field trips, school beautification projects, playground equipment, classroom supplies and plenty more.

We hold ONE primary fundraiser every two years called the Race for Education. It funds our budget for two full years for all of our programs and the extra things that often come up. Next year in the fall of 2019 will be our next Race.

The Warwick PTO also participates in the GIANT A+ Rewards, Amazon Smile, and the Box Tops for Education programs. These programs provide us with even more opportunities to raise money without actual donations. It is just a swipe of your bonus card, shopping on the amazon smile website, or a clip of a box top from a product you have bought. Easy extra money!

Every activity outside of the school day is organized and planned by our many volunteers and we are always appreciative of the time that our parents can give, even if it is only a little, so that we can give a fun experience to our children. New ideas are also so important to making Warwick an exciting and up to date school for our kids so, if you have any new ideas or time to donate, please contact the PTO at our new email: warwickelementarypto@gmail.com.

We will help you get in touch with the committee that you have an interest in. Our current executive board members are listed below:

    President: Rachel McClintock

    Vice President: Jill Laster

    Vice President 2: Stephanie Parente

    Secretary: Meghan Wojewodka

    Treasurer: Sapna Gulrajani

    Treasurer Deposits: Julie Narisi

All parents are also welcome to come to our general meetings held almost once a month. And if you have young children it's not a problem, they can come too! We can even arrange for an older student to be available for the evening meetings to entertain the young ones in the library. Please join us for our first meeting September 12 at 10am in the cafeteria. Our second meeting will be October 17th at 7pm in the library.

The rest of the meeting schedule will be posted on Facebook and our PTO website link on the Warwick Elementary School CBSD webpage.

Every year, Warwick has published a PTO directory with contact information for all Warwick students, most importantly those in your child's class. This year we will be putting the directory online on the Warwick Elementary School Website for our entire school to access with a special password. This is a great resource for parents and kids to be able to look up a phone number to call a classmate for homework, an email for birthday party planning, or playdates. Please make sure your information is current on the parent portal and there is also a section to mark if you do not want to be included in the directory online.

Thank you in advance for your support and best wishes for a fantastic school year!
