Thank you for supporting our Race for Education!!  This year our goal is to raise $40,000 to help benefit the students at Titus.  We sent out just about 5,000 mailers to our Titus community and their families and so far we have received approximately $27,000 in donations.  The Race for Education does so much for our school!  The money that we raise helps the Titus Home and School Association to

• reduce the cost of field trip expenses for all students

• bring our guest author to Titus for Young Author’s Day

• fund a day full of explorations and experiments during Science Fun Day, and

• provide a $5 voucher for all students to receive a book from the book fair not only in the fall, but again in the spring.

All of the Titus events such as Harvest Breakfast, Bingo Night, and Kindergarten Movie Night are free for Titus students and families to attend because of our Race for Education.  And, the support doesn’t end there.  Titus teachers also receive grant money for materials and supplies in their classrooms. 

On our Race for Education day, we celebrate these accomplishments with the students.  Those students who bring in mailing labels and stamp donations receive prizes and are entered to win a gift card to Bertucci’s, a $100 Visa gift card, and one lucky student from each grade level is selected to go on a special limo ride to lunch with Mr. Cashman. 

Although Race Day is over, you can send in your donations over the remainder of the school year.  Thank you for your support!!
