SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL WELLNESS
June 5, 2020
Hello Soaring Eagles! Thank you for joining me today! Happy Friday!
Field Day is a fun day! It is also a GREAT day to remember that we all have different strengths, interests and abilities. Your friends and family members probably have a wide range of different abilities to help them participate in your Field Day activities. Don't judge yourself or others for being different. Instead, celebrate and appreciate the qualities that each person has and cheer for one another! When one person feels good, we are all winners!
This week we are going to focus on Diversity. During the difficult times that our country is experiencing, it is important for people to think about and celebrate our differences as well as our similarities. Being kind and respectful is always important.
Everyone has the power to show kindness, compassion and an openness to others' perspectives. When you demonstrate these qualities, you can be a great role-model for other students.
I miss all of our Soaring Eagles!Ms. Kowalchick
