Wishing You a Bright, Colorful and Playful Day4/1/20 Hello Soaring Eagles! Happy April Fool's Day! People like to joke around and try to fool people on the 1st of April. If you do that today, make sure you only joke with someone who also appreciates a good joke on April Fool's Day. Be kind and playful, not mean-spirited.
The Mindful Moments we've been practicing can help you focus on how you feel in the moment. Look around you. What do you see? What do you notice? Take it all in. How does it make you feel?
When I go outside and see a bright blue sky, it brightens my mood. On a dreary day, a glimpse of a rainbow or the bright spot of a flower starting to emerge can change my mood immediately. Not only can color brighten our day, but color also can express and communicate our feelings. Artists use colors in their artwork to help convey feelings and moods. Some people even choose certain colored clothes, depending on the mood they are feeling as they get dressed.
There is a lot of power in color. You can use this power as a tool to help you improve your mood and manage stress.
Wishing you a bright, colorful and playful day,
Ms. Kowalchick
