Congrats, Mabel Romano!
This month's theme: See the Good, Be the Good Through Kindness
Mabel Romano is a 7th Grade student at Unami Middle School. Mabel designed the November Lockscreen, which was See the Good, Be the Good Through Kindness. In Mabel's words:
"I chose to draw this picture because it reminds me of this time of year and the theme “See the Good, Be the Good.” I think it’s really nice to be kind and help others. When I think about Thanksgiving, I picture all the yummy food like mashed potatoes, turkey, cranberry sauce, and of course, pumpkin pie! Then I start thinking about kindness and how places like soup kitchens give food to people who need it. Helping others is important because someday we might need help too.
A little about me: I love art! I doodle and draw every day, filling every empty space on my paper. I also play soccer and take acting classes. When I’m not drawing, I’m usually reading a book or making crafts.”
