Kelsey Stevens is a 5th Grade student at Simon Butler Elementary School. Kelsey designed the January Lockscreen, which was See the Good, Be the Good in the New Year. In Kelsey's words:

"I’m so excited that I won the lock screen contest! When I was creating my design, I imagined someone cozy inside their home, writing down their New Year’s resolutions while watching fireworks and snow outside. Their resolutions were to be kind, responsible, respectful, and to make good choices. I think this fits the monthly theme because starting the new year with goals to be your best self is always a great idea.

Some of my hobbies are dancing, which I’ve been doing for about five years, and singing, which I’ve been doing for about three years. This year, I’m also learning how to play the glockenspiel! Making my lock screen design was so much fun, and I hope that when people see it, they remember to always try to be the best version of themselves."
