February 2026

Congrats, David Martinez Cortes!

This month's theme: See the Good, Be the Good in Challenges

David Martinez Cortes is a Seventh-Grade student at Tamanend Middle School. David designed the February Lockscreen, which was See the Good, Be the Good in Challenges. In David's words:

"I’m really honored to be chosen again. Thank you so much! I’ve been drawing since I was little, and I try to get a little better every day. Art is a huge part of my life, and I can’t imagine not doing it. I’m so excited to win the See the Good, Be the Good award for the second time!

My drawing was inspired by a documentary I watched about a man climbing Mount Everest. He faced so many tough challenges and almost gave up, but he kept pushing and finally reached the top. That story inspired my artwork because it shows how determination can help you push past your limits, even when things feel really hard.”

Congratulations David!
