Emma Kim is a 7th Grade student at Holicong Middle School. Emma designed the December Lockscreen, which was See the Good, Be the Good in Your Community. In Emma's words:

"I’m so excited that I won the contest this month! Drawing has been my favorite hobby for about 4 years now, and I’ve also been into cooking for the past 2 years. When I’m not doing those, I love gaming, crafting, and painting, basically anything creative and fun!

I decided to draw this because it really matched the theme “See good, be good,” especially with the holidays coming up. I pictured a sweet moment where two people are exchanging gifts, because giving and receiving feels so good and really shows kindness. That’s what the holidays are all about, spreading joy and making people smile!

It took me about 2 hours to finish the drawing, and I listened to two songs on repeat the whole time to stay in the zone. The idea came straight from my imagination, and I just kept adding little details until it felt perfect. Honestly, I had so much fun making it, and I hope you can feel that when you look at it.
