Annual Ron LaMar Scholarship
Mr. Ron LaMar was a fixture in the Central Bucks community for nearly 20 years. A dedicated and passionate music teacher, he was a champion for both his students and his program as well as a pillar of the Central Bucks community. When Mr. LaMar passed in June, 2014, we lost a great teacher, a caring friend and a special person. He will truly be missed, and it is the hope of the Central Bucks Music Department that this scholarship will help preserve his memory and celebrate his legacy of serving through music.
Graduating seniors from any of the three Central Bucks high schools are eligible to apply for The Ronald W. LaMar Memorial Scholarship. Although Mr. LaMar was a band director, the applicant does not need to be pursuing a music major in college. Please see below for a detailed list of the requirements.
Applications are due no later than April 1, 2026.
