Physical Education Dress Code Guidelines

Physical Education Dress Code Guidelines

  • To better prepare students for Secondary Physical Education class and to build a healthy state of mind for fitness and daily activities, students in grades 7 -12 will be REQUIRED to change for P.E.; however, a CBSD PE uniform is not required.
  • Students must be prepared to participate in clothes that adhere to the established school dress code guidelines listed below:
    • Loose fitting t-shirt
    • Draw string shorts (shorts need to adhere to the appropriate length per student handbook)
    • Sweatpants (with drawstring) or leggings
    • Sweatshirt for cold days (no heavy jackets)
    • Athletic shoes (running or sports sneakers). No slip-ons, heels, Uggs, boots, slippers, Crocs, or flip-flops - shoes must surround your ankle for adequate protection.
    • For safety reasons, the shorts and shirt can not have pockets, snaps, zippers, buckles, buttons, or metal studs.
    • Orientation will be provided for students in all Physical Education classes on the first day.

Thank you for your cooperation. We hope this makes your child's P.E. experience more productive and enjoyable.
