Flexible Instructional Day (FID)

Flexible Instructional Days

A Flexible Instructional Day (FID) occurs when CBSD schools and administration buildings close due to weather conditions or other factors, and student learning continues as a remote learning day in an asynchronous environment with scheduled live support available. When a FID is announced, all students, teachers and administrators will convert to a modified learning/work schedule. A FID will only be called after the first traditional "snow day" is used by the district.

How a FID Works

Modified Schedule for all K-12 students

All stakeholders will receive an email/text notifying them of a FID.
Students will complete pages in FID workbook or on Canvas
Staff available to assist students via Teams.
