Study Abroad Italy 2027
Did you love your FCS culinary classes and want to take your learning beyond the classroom? We’re excited to introduce an international travel experience to Italy in Summer 2027, connected to our Culinary & Cultural Roots course and you can earn 0.25 elective credit while you go!
This trip is open to any student who has completed an FCS culinary course, including:
✅ Food for Life (9th Grade)
✅ American Cuisine
✅ Global Gourmet
🍝 What is Culinary & Cultural Roots?
Culinary & Cultural Roots is a 0.25‑credit travel‑based course that allows students to explore how food connects to history, culture, geography, and daily life. During our time in Italy, students will experience authentic cuisine, learn about regional ingredients and traditions, and see firsthand how food shapes culture all while earning credit.
