Elementary Online-Only Program Update

As communicated in August, the emergence of the COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 5-11 will signify the end of the elementary online-only program option. The Pfizer-BioNTech pediatric vaccine for COVID-19 was recently recommended for children ages 5-11.

The district will plan to end the elementary online-only program on January 28, 2022. Although Central Bucks will not require proof of a COVID-19 vaccine for students we want to allow sufficient time for any family interested to obtain the vaccine and the necessary second dose.

Any students remaining in the online-only program will return to in-person learning, and their first day of in-person classes will be January 31, 2022.

We look forward to welcoming our online-only students back to in-person learning and to making every effort to ensure our they make a smooth transition.

Sincerely,
