Dear CBSD Community,

Today, August 20, marks exactly two weeks from the start of school. I am sure this news brings mixed emotions: excitement for the year and opportunities ahead, nervousness about the new relationships and experiences in store, and perhaps stress over back-to-school tasks still not checked off your to-do lists.

I can relate to these emotions entering my first school year as superintendent. Above all, however, I am energized by the projects, programs and initiatives I’ve witnessed over the summer, and the people working hard every day throughout the district for the betterment of our students and schools. I know all of us in CBSD will be ready and eager to welcome our students and families back into our buildings.

To help all of us get excited for the 2024-25 school year, I invite you to watch this video. We look forward to seeing all our students in two weeks and partnering with our families toward a successful and positive school year.
