National Teacher Appreciation Day

Good Morning Central Bucks Colleagues,
Today is National Teacher Appreciation Day, a time when we say thanks to our teachers in our schools and classrooms.  Teaching is one of the most challenging professions, yet there are few that bring greater rewards and can make a greater impact. To see a child develop into a responsible and caring person who makes their own unique impact and contribution in the world is really an invaluable experience. I am sure we all remember a teacher who inspired us, challenged us, connected with us, and believed in us, along the way.
The list of “appreciation days” throughout the school year is long, and I hope this is a week when all of our staff will feel a sense of appreciation. To our bus drivers, who safely transport our children to and from school, to our nurses and guidance counselors who provide mental and emotional support, to our para-professionals who provide necessary care and support for students, to our support staff who keep us running smoothly, to our principals and assistant principals who provide leadership to our school  communities, and to all the others – no matter your role - who provide a lending hand so that our entire school district can best support our students, we thank you.
Please take a moment today to thank a teacher, and a staff member… and perhaps you can reach out and thank one who inspired you in your own journey.
Thanks for making a difference every day!
