Dr. Helen Zaleski Appointed Asst. Superintendent of Elementary
Central Bucks School District is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Helen Zaleski as the district's next assistant superintendent for elementary education. The school board approved the appointment at the April 24 business meeting.
A dedicated CB teacher and administrator since 2003, Zaleski has served as the principal of Titus Elementary School since 2022. She joined the school after serving as a Spanish teacher (2003-2018) and house principal (2018-2022) at CB West High School. She began her career in education in 1998 as a Spanish teacher in Bethlehem Area School District and Easton Area School District. In her new role, Zaleski will provide leadership and guidance to all 15 of CBSD's elementary schools, ensuring the best possible education for all students.
Many of Zaleski's current colleagues at Titus attended the meeting to support her appointment and cheer on their soon-to-be former building leader. Zaleski will finish the year at Titus before stepping into her new role.
"She is real, hardworking, fair," Titus counselor Jennifer Horan offered during public comment, which she said she was making on behalf of her fellow Titus educators and staff in the room. "She holds her teachers, staff, and students to a very high standard. She celebrates our victories and supports us when we fall, either professionally or personally. She will be a guiding light to our elementary administrators, faculty, staff, students, and families."
The process to identify the next principal for Titus will get underway. Zaleski will help transition the successful candidate into the Titus school community.
