Graduation 2025: Ceremony Videos and More About the Classes


A warm and sunny day gave way to a golden sunset as the CBSD community celebrated more than 1,500 graduating seniors from CB East, CB South, and CB West high schools on June 11. Held over six hours at each school's football stadium, the three consecutive outdoor commencements showcased the incredible talents, dedication, and spirit of the Class of 2025 and the many teachers, staff members, and administrators who organized and took part in the events. Whether this year's graduates are heading to college, trade school, the workforce, or the military, they leave prepared to make their mark with the support of family, friends, and the connections made during their time in CB. CB West (video)

CB West kicked off the day at 2 p.m. with a farewell to 462 seniors, nearly half of whom earned academic honors. "Graduating at the top of the class is truly an amazing accomplishment because of the outstanding achievement of all our students," Principal Lyndell Davis said at the ceremony before congratulating the class's academic honorees.

  • 99 graduated summa cum laude (GPA of 4.1+)
  • 68 graduated magna cum laude (GPA of 3.9–4.1)
  • 56 graduated cum laude (GPA of 3.7–3.9)

Valedictorian: Thomas Shields

Salutatorian: Yoel Nahor

Additional highlights:

  • 78 students graduated from the Middle Bucks Institute of Technology (MBIT)
  • 113 received Presidential Educational Excellence Awards
  • 388 are going on to higher education
  • 343 are attending 124 different four-year colleges in 26 states, one internationally
  • 57 are attending two-year community colleges or career and technical schools
  • 27 are entering the workforce
  • Two are entering a military academy
  • Three are enlisting in the U.S. military

"Graduating at the top of the class is truly an amazing accomplishment because so many CB South students have a laser focus on academic achievement," Principal Jason Bucher said at the ceremony before congratulating the class's academic honorees.

  • 112 graduated summa cum laude
  • 69 graduated magna cum laude
  • 71 graduated cum laude

Valedictorian: Iris Liu

Salutatorian: Grace Piro

  • 56 graduates of the Middle Bucks Institute of Technology (MBIT)
  • 124 received Presidential Educational Excellence Awards
  • 15 National Merit Commended Scholars
  • Four National Merit Finalists
  • 546 are going on to higher education
  • 478 are attending 129 different four-year colleges in 26 different states and three countries
  • 32 are entering the workforce
  • Eight are actively or will soon be actively serving in the U.S. military

"CB East maintains a tradition of recognizing the exemplary academic achievements of our students beyond the historical practice of only the valedictorian and salutatorian," Principal Chad Watters said at the ceremony before congratulating the class's academic honorees.

  • 139 graduated summa cum laude
  • 73 graduated magna cum laude
  • 61 graduated cum laude

Valedictorian: James Wan

Salutatorian: Soumil Sharma

  • 39 graduates of the Middle Bucks Institute of Technology (MBIT)
  • 136 received Presidential Educational Excellence Awards
  • 16 National Merit Scholars, including seven finalists and two corporate scholarship winners
  • 414 members of the class are continuing their education at 144 different four-year colleges
  • 24 are attending two-year community colleges or career and technical schools
  • 23 are joining the workforce
  • Six are serving or preparing to serve in the U.S. military
  • One graduate was named National Young Marine of the Year (Congrats, Susan Suber!)
