Student Illness

CENTRAL BUCKS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO EXCLUDE CHILDREN FROM SCHOOL BASED ON THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:

1) Illness that prevents the child from participating in school activities and class.

2) Fever (100.4° or higher) within the past 24 hours. Students may not return to school until they are fever free without the use of fever-reducing medication for 24 hours.

3) Diarrhea or vomiting within the past 24 hours. Students may not return to school until they are free of diarrhea and/or vomiting for 24 hours.

4) Rash with a fever.

5) Other conditions deemed appropriate after assessment by the Certified School Nurse and/or the Staff Nurse

6) Any illness that is considered a communicable disease and is advised to be excluded from school as a result of Bucks County Department of Health guidance.
