Central Bucks School District is pleased to announce that Christie Corcoran has been selected as the next principal of Warwick Elementary School, pending approval by the CBSD School Board at the May 28 board business meeting.

Corcoran currently serves as assistant principal at Groveland Elementary School, a role she has held for the past three years. Prior to that, she spent 13 years as a teacher at Kutz Elementary School. She brings 20 years of experience in Central Bucks public schools as both a teacher and administrator.

“I am honored and excited to introduce myself as the new principal of Warwick Elementary School,” Corcoran shared in a May 27, 2026 message to families. “It is truly a privilege to join such a strong and supportive community, and I am looking forward to beginning this journey together.”

Current principal Brian Finger, who announced he will retire effective August 21, 2026, shared his appreciation for the Warwick community and confidence in the school’s future leadership in a message to staff and families. Finger and Corcoran will work together to support a smooth transition ahead of the 2026-27 school year.

As she begins her new role, Corcoran said her priority will be listening, learning, and building strong relationships with students, staff, and families while continuing to support the strong foundation already in place at Warwick.
