New Principals Named at Four Elementary Schools

As the district prepares for the 2025-26 school year, we are pleased to announce several elementary principal appointments that reflect thoughtful planning and an ongoing commitment to strong leadership across all of CB schools.

Pending approval by the school board at the August 21 business meeting, the following leadership changes will take effect:

• Dr. Joe Mazza will become principal of Buckingham Elementary School. Joe has held a variety of roles during his 24 years in education, from third-grade teacher to bilingual assistant principal to elementary and middle school principal to director of connected teaching, learning and innovation.
• Mr. Mike Testani will become principal of Groveland Elementary School. Mike has been principal of Linden for the past eight years and began his administrative career in CB as Groveland’s assistant principal in 2008.
• Mr. Dan Estep will become principal of Linden Elementary School. Dan most recently served as Buckingham’s principal for seven years and spent 13 years as principal of Barclay. He started his CB career at Jamison as assistant principal. 
• Mrs. Erin Walter will become principal of Titus Elementary School. Erin joins CBSD from The School District of Philadelphia, where she spent 12 years serving students and families, first as a second-grade teacher for five years then as an assistant principal.

Mr. Testani and Mr. Estep will begin their new roles later this month. Dr. Mazza and Mrs. Walter will join the district in early August. Mrs. Lauren Dowd will continue serving as interim principal of Jamison Elementary School as leadership plans are finalized for the school.
