$27K in CBEF Grants to Support Enrichment

The CBEF logo with an image of two hands holding a gift box.

A traveling art gallery, a student television studio, and scientific research equipment are among the projects receiving support through more than $27,000 in 2026-27 grants awarded by the Central Bucks Education Foundation, an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit. Funded by donations from families, businesses, and community members, this year’s grants will support learning at all grade levels.

High School Grants

  • At CB East, new darkroom enlargers and accessories will give photography students hands-on experience developing photographs and creating traditional silver gelatin prints.

  • At CB West, two new 3D printers will allow students in the 3D Modeling and Animation curriculum to turn digital designs into physical prototypes.

  • At CB South, a STEM Research Equipment Lending Library will give students access to scientific equipment for research projects and competitions.

  • Students from all three high schools will benefit from the CB STEM Year 2 Mission, which includes robotics masterclasses, career-building events with professional judges, a structured internship cohort and an ongoing partnership with the Bucks IU CAD/Engineering/Robotics lab.

Middle School Grants

  • Students at all five middle schools will experience Art on the Move, a traveling art gallery designed to expand access to and engagement with the arts.

Elementary School Grants

  • At Butler, students will help create and produce school television programming, including announcements and student-produced video segments, through the Butler TV Studio.

  • At Doyle, Storybook STEM will connect reading with hands-on STEM challenges in the library, encouraging students to solve problems and create designs inspired by stories.

  • At Linden, students will explore coding and artificial intelligence through LEGO Education Computer Science & AI kits as part of Storytelling to Coding: Bringing AI to Elementary Animation.

  • At Pine Run, students in the autistic support program will participate in the Eagle Drumline Clinic, a musical experience designed specifically for their needs.

Student Support Grants

  • At Holicong, Tamanend, and CB East, grants will help develop and expand sensory and emotional support rooms, giving students spaces to regulate their emotions and sensory needs during the school day.

Together, these grants represent the district and foundation's ongoing partnership and investment in creativity, connection, and innovation. CBSD thanks CBEF and the families, businesses, and community members whose donations make these projects possible!
