Live lessons will be held using Microsoft Teams:
Be present and actively engaged each day in synchronous (live) instruction and asynchronous (guided) instruction
Establish daily routines for learning that allow you to function at your very best.
Identify a space in your home where you can learn comfortably; this must be an appropriate setting away from distractions
Learn how to use the digital tools and resources that will be provided during class
Keep video cameras on during live learning to enhance the personal connections that will occur in a virtual setting, and to allow important engagement with your teachers
Come prepared with all needed resources and materials.
Check your Canvas courses and CBSD email daily
Be present for all classes and actively participate in synchronous learning opportunities
Communicate with your family, teacher and/or school counselor if you feel you need additional resources or are feeling overwhelmed
Engage in classwork and assessment with fidelity and abide by the CBSD code of conduct/policies
I will be available to parents and students each day from 10:29-11:12 am.
You can reach me via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or text through Talking Points.
Our classroom will be using email as the primary mode of assigning and collecting work.
