My name is Madison Van Houten and I am very excited to be the Art Teacher at Barclay Elementary School!
I graduated from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania with a B.S degree in Art Education and Crafts. In my college years, I was an active member of the National Art Education Association student chapter, an intern at a local gallery, and a camp counselor- constantly spreading art education wherever it was. Before I became a student at Kutztown University, I attended the CB school district. In fact, I was a student at Barclay Elementary! I was a young learner growing up in Bucks County, when I picked up art lessons at a young age. Drawing quickly became a passion of mine after that, and turned into a career choice as I entered CB South High School.
The love and care this school district provides for education steered me into the direction of Education with Art. It is truly a blessing to return the passion and educate!
