    Explanation: Students will revise the audio assignment from yesterday by checking their work with my answers in One Note and then completing a series of activities accessing their reading and comprehension skills for the vocabulary from Unidad Preliminar, Desafio 4.

    Tasks: 1) Students should go to “One Note, March 30, 2020 ANSWERS AND ACTIVITIES” to check their listening comprehension work from yesterday and check the preterite tense of ESTAR and the participle ending with -ANDO or -IENDO; complete a formative assessment for vocabulary from Unidad Preliminar, Desafio 4.

    Overview: U3 Irregular preterite and UPD4 vocab                         Estimate Time: 30 minutes

    Explanation: Students will revise assignments from last week that identify regular and irregular preterite verbs in various sentences and in a reading passage entitled “Los Tres Gusanitos; write sentences using ESTAR and a participle to say what people did and listen and match pictures with the appropriate descriptions.

    Tasks: 1) Students should read over “One Note, Classwork assignment from Wednesday, March 25th and Thursday, March 26th and understand feedback from Señora Heath; skim the story under “March 25th ANSWERS” to locate all preterite verbs and meaning in the story (all verbs highlighted in the reading); listen to Sra. Heath’s oral and written examples describing a picture (One Note, Classwork, March 30, 2020) and then use ESTAR in the preterite with a participle to say what someone was doing based on what you hear.

    Explanation: Students will use ONE NOTE (March 26, 2020) to translate essential phrases from Spanish to English using the preterite and record one's voice describing what people in a picture did using the preterite of ESTAR + participle of -AR, -ER and -IR verbs.

    Tasks: Students should 1) Revise their work in One Note from "March 24, 2020" and 2) Visit One Note and complete the assignment and recording for Thursday, March 26, 2020 Classwork Assignment.

    Explanation: Students will use ONE NOTE (March 25, 2020) to read a story entitled "Los Tres Gusanitos" and identify and translate the regular and irregular verbs in the preterite; read and identify which irregular verb best fits in the context of each sentence.

    Explanation: Students will revise corrected work form yesterday, "Classwork, March 23, 2020; students will use CANVAS (3.3 Gramatica Fans lon Line workbook) and ONE NOTE (March 24, 2020) to practice differentiating between various verbs in the preterite tense to determine which best fits each sentence; create sentences in the preterite tense using the verb PODER and TRAER to say what people could not do because of somehting they did not bring; to look at a series of pictures and respond to the question, "¿Qué hicieron estas personas?" en el preterito.

    Tasks: Students should 1) Visit One Note and check their corrections from Monday, March 23, 2020 Classwork Assignment; 2) Go between One Note ("March 24, 2020) and CANVAS (Fans On Line Activities Workbook, 3.3 Gramatica); 3) describe what people did in the pictures in One Note and 4) use the verbs PODER and TRAER in the preterite to describe what people did.

    Explanation: Students will practice describing where and when people were in South America referring to a map, using the verb ESTAR in the preterite tense; answer questions about what people did and when in the past responding to the question "¿Qué hizo/hicieron . . .?" Students will review corrections from previous work assignment and read and translate description about destinations and nature.

    Tasks: Students should 1) Visit One Note and check their corrections from Thursday's assignment in Classwork (March 18, 2020). If students did not complete this activity (many students could not view it/synchinig problems, etc.) please go up to "Content Library" and copy and paste the assignment from March 18, 2020 to their own individual notebook under the "Classwork Section." 2) Go to "Classwork, March 23, 2020" and complete the warm up and reading translation pages (again-if this is not showing up in your notebook, go ot "Content Library" and copy and paste the assignment to your individual notebook under "Classwork Tab."

    Thursday, March 19, 2020 (Sorry for technology issues with Microsoft on Wednesday.  Hopefully you read the update I posted yesterday in regards to the problem, stating that there was a problem with Microsoft, I put in a help desk ticket and was told while it is being worked on, please look in "Content Library" for the assignment (if it does not show up in your individual notebook) and copy it and add it to your "Classwork Tab." Thank you for your patience as we will experience difficulties like this frequently.     Explanation: Students will answer a series of questions in the preterite, practice conugating verbs in the preterite, reviewing a stations activity in powerpoint and practicing to conjugate irregular verbs in the preterite and review context meaning.

    Tasks: 1) Students should visit One Note "Classwork, March 19th, 2020" and complete a warm up section responding to questions in the preterite tense, 2) look over my corrections from class activity from Tuesday, March 17th in classwork, 3) review class stations activity from March 12th (choosing the correct preterite verb in sentence context-powerpoint, and conjugating verbs) in One Note "March 19th, 2020" and 3) practice conjugating verbs in the preterite for irregular verbs in context of vocab from UPD4.

    Explanation: Students will listen to a warm up by Sra. Heath and choose the vocabulary word, and listen to a series of questions in a powerpoint with visual questionsa dn pictures, and try to repsond in the preterite tense.

    Tasks: 1) Students should visit One Note Classwork section entitled "March 18, 2020" and listen to Sra. Heath's questions in Spanish and go through the powepoint (choosing the correct vocabulary word and repsonding to the quesitons in complete sentences (if their microphone is working).

    *If the microphone is not working then please just practice responding aloud to the questions.

    Tasks: 1) Students should complete One Note activities under "Classwork, March 17, 2020," 2) check answers to h.w. assignment that was due Friday (questions with pictures) (Note:Friday will be a formative assessment-not summative- review quiz of U3D4 vocab and grammar), and 3) complete the on line review activities below.
