  • Hello Everyone!

     

    I am so happy that you are going to be in my Kindergarten class this school year. We will have lots of fun working and learning together, as we begin our journey as life-long learners.

     

    I am very happy I had a chance to meet so many of you at our Kindergarten Orientation in June. Hope you are taking good care of the Warwick Bear you adopted😊

     

    When you come to school on Monday, August 29, 2022, please remember to wear the name tag which you will receive at our Bus Orientation in August. Dates and information will follow. If you are unable to attend the Bus Orientation, please pick up a name tag from the office at your convenience.

     

    Please ask mom or dad to fill the name tag out for you. Please make sure all the information on your name tag, including your bus number and bus stop, is accurate. Please refer to the “Name Tag Directions” at the bottom of this letter so you know what is required on your name tag. These name tags will help make the first few days of school run smoothly. Please wear your name tag to school every day for the first week.

     

    Also, please bring a schoolbag with you each day so you can carry your important papers home. Make sure your name is clearly marked on your schoolbag. Often students have the same schoolbag, and we want the right schoolbag to go home with the right student! Please bring a folder with your name on it. We get lots of mail in school, and a folder will help you take the information home safely to your parents. Please have your mom or dad write your name on your jacket and all your other belongings throughout the year.

     

    Please bring a soft, clear pencil case in which to keep all your school supplies. Inside please put two sharpened pencils, two black dry erase markers and a dry erase eraser (socks work well).  Any other supplies will be given to the students at school.  Please make sure your belongings are labeled with your name. 

     

    Finally, you will need a clearly marked headset (headphones) to use with iPads. For health reasons, it is best for each student to bring their own set inside a labeled plastic bag, and they will be returned at the end of the school year. Please write your name on the front of the plastic bag.

     

    I have been very busy setting up our classroom for the new school year. I am so excited about getting to know each of you and your wonderful families.  Please enjoy the rest of your summer.  I look forward to seeing all of you very soon!
