Welcome to the Band!!

By way of introduction, my name is Mark Appiotti and this will be my 35th  year teaching instrumental music, my 30^th in Central Bucks, and this will be my 16^th year teaching at the elementary level. For 14 years I was the band director at Lenape Middle School in Doylestown and for 5 years before that I directed the bands at Harry S Truman High School in Levittown, PA. I had the privilege of building award -winning marching, jazz, and concert band programs at both schools and I’m confident that your child will have an outstanding experience in the elementary band here! I hold a Bachelors Degree in Music Education from Mansfield University and a Masters Degree in music from the University of the Arts. I’m twice listed in the Who’s who of American Teachers and have worked as a professional trumpet player and festival adjudicator. Each July for the past 28 years, I’ve directed the C.B. Community Band for our outdoor concert series at the Doylestown Courthouse. I was born and raised in Philadelphia and I now live in Bucks County with my high school sweetheart and bride of 34 years, Karen. We have 6 children ranging in age from ages 27 to 14 with 3 still at home.
