Alternate Bus Stop Request

• The Central Bucks Transportation Department provides bus service for alternate stops for students residing in two households in the District resulting from split custody arrangements and for childcare arrangements before and/or after school for elementary school students.

  The Department will approve requests for childcare or shared custody situations only as long as the following criteria are met:

• Requests must be for every morning and/or afternoon for the entire school year
• Change cannot result in overcrowding of a bus
• For shared custody, both parent's addresses must be registered with Central Registration.
• Both parents must sign form
• For childcare the student must be in K-5 and the alternate stop must be within the school boundary
• Requests for alternate bus stops must be renewed annually.
• Requests will not be approved for temporary periods.
• Requests will not be approved for student employment, medical appointments, religious instructions, scouts or any other activity.
