Ideas for Reviewing Content
Place the nametags on the kids. The nametags should be on the student's back so they cannot see their own nametag. Mix up the index cards and pass those out. The students can read all the answers by looking at the nametags on people's backs, and they have to give the correct index cards to the correct people.
Use alphabet refrigerator magnets (or bulletin board letters) to create a whiteboard splash review.
1. At the end of a unit, assign students a letter of the alphabet (or given them cardboard or magnetic letters).
2. Ask students to create a one-sentence summary of the lesson, beginning their sentence with the assigned letter.
3. Do a chalkboard splash, attaching the sentences and magnetic letters to the board so students can review their peers’ sentence summaries.

Place students in pairs. One student turns chair so that their back is to the front of the room. Their partner places their chair so that they can see the board and talk to their partner.
Reveal vocabulary words on the board. The person who can see the vocab words needs to provide clues about the vocabulary word. When the vocab word is guessed correctly, they move onto the next word.
You can modify this game by placing only one vocab word at a time, having the PPT slide automatically advance after 10 seconds.
Partners switch places after the round is over. This provides a quick, fast-paced review for concepts and vocabulary.
