Central Bucks School District Threat Assessment Teams

The Central Bucks School District has provided all administrators, school counselors, school social workers and school psychologists with specific and targeted threat assessment training using the evidence-based, Comprehensive School Threat Assessment Guidelines (CSTAG).  This model employs both theoretical understanding and real-life practical application for school teams to thoroughly evaluate all threats to safety and well-being.  Along with general school safety protocols, these procedures are discussed and practiced multiple times per year in our schools throughout the district.  All teams use a detailed and collaborative approach, working together to evaluate threats and make recommendations as appropriate.
