Communications and Community Engagement

The Communications and Community Engagement Department serves stakeholders through a strategic and creative approach to public and media relations, digital communications, and internal and external information sharing.

The office is responsible for: 

• Community, public, and media relations

• Communications support and guidance for the School Board, Superintendent and district and school administrators

• Crisis communication and district mass messaging

• Content creation for and management of district website

• Content creation for and management of district social media

• Promotion/coverage of student and school achievements

• Promotion/coverage of district, school, and student initiatives and events

• Photography, video production and broadcasting

• Branding and graphic design

• Support for CBTV, the district's educational access channel

• Technical support of CBSD video studios and equipment
