Novice Dive Clinic
This clinic is designed for beginner divers and focuses on building strong fundamentals through step-by-step instruction. It’s perfect for young athletes who are new to diving and want to improve their technique in a supportive environment.
Requirements:
- Must be 7 years or older (Think your 6-year-old is ready? See ⭐ below.)
- Must be able to swim in 12 feet of water
- Must be able to independently swim to the ladder and exit the pool after each dive
Note: This clinic does not teach diving off starting blocks.
⭐If your 6-year-old child meets the requirements for clinics and would like to participate, contact Jennifer Steinberg at jsteinberg@cbsd.org to explore the possibility of participating.
Attendance & What to Bring:
- One-piece racing suit (no fashion suits, bikinis, or swim shorts)
- Optional: Swim cap (recommended for long hair)
- No goggles (they may interfere with diving technique)
- Attendance is encouraged at all sessions, but we understand other commitments. Fees are not prorated, and no make-ups/refunds are available for missed sessions.
2026 Novice Diving Clinic Schedule
April 7 – May 19, 2026
- Tuesdays at CB East: 6:30–7:30 p.m.
- Fridays at CB South: 5:30–6:30 p.m.
- Saturdays at CB South: 11 a.m.– 12 p.m.

If any conflict dates arise when we cannot hold the clinic, they will be provided as soon as known and no make-ups/refunds will be available.
Cost: $270 (paid via credit card during online registration)
Team Extended Season Clinic
This clinic is for current SAL team divers who want to continue training in preparation for the summer club or next fall season.
2026 Team Extended Season Clinic Schedule
April 7 – May 19, 2026
- Tuesdays at CB East: 6:30–8 p.m.
- Fridays at CB South: 5:30–7 p.m.
- Saturdays at CB South: 11 a.m.– 12:30 p.m.

Cost: $340 (paid via credit card during online registration)

Registration Information
For Returning CB Diving Team Members (2025-2026 Season):
- Registration instructions will be emailed in December.
- Register via your CB Team Unify portal.
- Deadline: January 29
- No additional paperwork required
- Space is filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
For New Participants:
- Complete the online 2026 Pre-Registration Form (form not currently available)
- Space is limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis, and may be filled prior to any posted deadlines.
- Submit your form by January 29 for best chance (final deadline: March 9 or when full)
- After you submit the online form, you'll receive an email confirming whether space is available in the clinic for your diver. If space is available, the email will include registration instructions. Registration must be completed online, including payment, by the deadline specified in your instructional email.
