Dear Sixth Grade Grizzlies, Parents, and Guardians,

Welcome to room 227!  My name is Mrs. Keri Rybny and I am writing to introduce myself as your 6th grade teacher for the upcoming school year!  I am so very excited to be on this journey with you as a sixth grader.  This is my twenty-first year in Central Bucks but twenty-fourth year of teaching grades first, second, third, and sixth.  I am a proud graduate of Susquehanna University with a master’s degree from Holy Family University.  I also obtained a certificate in teaching individuals with autism from Penn State University!

Besides being a teacher, I am a busy mom of three children!  Anna is a junior at Mount Saint Joseph’s Academy and is a member of their crew team.  I spend a lot of time at Boat House Row!  My son, Charlie, is a freshman at Unami and a competitive gymnast.  Finally, Caitlin is a spunky third grade at Butler.  She enjoys swimming, tumbling, and hip hop! Mr. Rybny enjoys triathlon racing and our family loves to go camping!  We took a vacation of a lifetime cross country in our rv this summer with the Badlands being our favorite destination! Kacee, our 10 year old dog, rounds out the Rybny family!

For a successful start to 6th grade, please refer to the supply list on my website.  This list of suggested supplies should be brought to school on the first day along with a healhy snack and water bottle.  Please know these are only suggestions and I can supplement any supplies you may not have.

Enjoy the remaining weeks of summer!  I cannot wait to welcome you all to our classroom family in just a few short weeks.  If you should have any questions, please reach out via email at krybny@cbsd.org.

    Sincerely,

    Mrs. Rybny
