• End of the Cold War and Contemporary America:  As Americans reacted to the liberalism of the 60's and 70's, a new conservative coalition begins to gain strength through the charisma of Ronald Reagan.  Reagan ushered in a more republican presidency that contributed to the end of the Cold War and the rise of covert CIA operations in Nicaragua and Iran.  While the Bushes and Clinton represented very different ideologies, they guided us through recession, an economic boom and ultimately 9-11.  It is within this unit that terrorism becomes a new type of warfare used by a new type of unseen enemy.
