Acrylic Painting Unit: Week of October 20Bring in canvas 16 x 20.Bring in shallow Tupperware container to keep paint.
You will need to collect photo reference for your painting. You may take your own pictures and/or combine images you’ve found online. Hint: If you print out your image from the computer, you may want to print out a black and white version to see the value break down.Subject matter: figure/portrait, architecture, landscape, still life, etc. NO SUNSETS!
Composition: Pick and interesting composition. You want to think about the principles of design when choosing an image.
Clarity: Make sure your image is clear with true colors.
